Well, I have never known this before. All my autumn projects which are usually done in October have been put back until November. This is rather worrying as the weather can also prevent any of this work getting done, especially if the weather we had over the last month is anything to go by. I have become very good at waiting for that split second lull in the wind to take the shot which is time consuming but can be worth the effort sometimes, like this one.
This is Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood', a stunning deep red which just glows in the low atumn light.
