Recently the weather has been too hot and sunny for me and some of the plants I had hoped to photograph this month have given up too and so, lost for another year. That is the trouble sometimes with plans, is that they don't always work out. Great day for butterflies though- I had never seen so many at once.
I managed to get to the meadows at Durlston Country Park this week on the promise of a cooler day. It didn't work out that way but managed a few hours before the heat and the glare of the sun got to me. It is a fab place just to walk, really, and the sea, always somewhere in the distance is always something I like to be close to and offered the solace of a cool breeze occasionally. Sometimes the peace and space of a place can inspire new ideas.
Anyway, here is one from the day.
