Cornus sericea in autumn This image was taken in an 'off 'day. Not in a negative or in an immodest way but in the sense of not having a project I am thinking about but free to be spontaneous and to catch what I see in the moment. This is how photography began for me. Now it is a career I may have to be focused on a feature I am working on and that itself is amazing in its own way but there is something special in having that occasional 'free day off kinda work day.' Entitled 'Autumn Glow' this won the PGPA Image of the Month for November 2014 so ranks now as particularly special.
