I am really happy to see this in LandScape magazine as a full page.
I love working with seedheads. The amazing shapes and textures close-up keep me absorbed for hours, sometimes just on one or two subjects.
LandScape magazine is a beautiful publication with stunning imagery. It is relatively new and out every 2 months and well worth a look.
Many magazines have come to use poor quality images as a means of cost cutting. Perhaps some people are not bothered by the photography and perhaps cannot see the difference. I am sure as a result the overall ambience of the publication must then be seen to be OK but not great. Can that be good at a time when perhaps people are not spending as much on magazines, that the best will be bought? Alot of work goes into quality imagery and copy and I really hope this is reflected in sales. If everyone buys only cheap this will surely result in having only poor quality publications available. I really hope not.
