The October issue of the English Gardens features a set of Tulip images taken last year at Pashley Manor. The forecast was looking good but by the time I arrived there from Dorset it was a dark and rainy day. The dilemma was do I stay or re-schedule? The weather was pretty horrendous last year in spring and there was no hint of improvement while the Tulips were in flower. When I looked at the Tulips in the beautiful display there I rememebered they were one of the few plants that look great, if not stunning in the rain, saturating their colours. So I stayed. A very wet photographer but worth it I think!
